The original idea behind the special table was to develop a football-based game that improves the players' technical skills. The result is a highly entertaining and engaging game for footballers and non-footballers alike. In TEQBALL, the ball must not be played with the arm or hand during the ball change. The player must bring the ball to the opponent's side and you may touch the ball a maximum of three times on your own side until it has to be played back to the opponent's side of the table. The ball must not touch the floor and the players must not touch the table.

In addition to the classic TEQBALL, the inventors have developed four other sports: TEQVOLY which is played in the volleyball technique, TEQPONG for table tennis players, TEQIS for tennis players and QATCH which is played in a group with a handball. All sports can also be played on these tables by people with physical impairments.
All sports, like TEQBALL, are about passing the ball over the net to the opponent's half of the cour.
